Cite Seeing: Mapping the Landscape of Research

Ever struggled to relocate a piece of research you know you’ve read? Our new Library feature is here to help you organize, retrieve, and cite your research with ease.

The Library consists of two sections (for now): Favorites and Bookmarks. The two are very similar but allow you to use them in whatever way suits you. Here's how we designed them to be used.

Bookmarks

Everyone’s busy, and interruptions are constant. Maybe you’re generating content to read later, or maybe your always-on-the-go friend sends you something worth revisiting. Use Bookmarks to save these reference points—things you want to return to when you have time.

Favorites

We see this as content you’ve read, digested, maybe enjoyed—or maybe just think will be useful later. Favorite content you’ve found valuable, so it’s easy to find and cite later—without disrupting your workflow.

How It Works

Wherever you view research in the app, you’ll find a set of action buttons—these include the tools for adding and removing chapters from your Library. Included within these are the tools for adding and removing research chapters from your library.

To access your Favorites and Bookmarks, hover over the Library tab in the header and select your desired page. From here, all your saved chapters are available to read, understand, and cite whenever you need them.

Conclusion

We hope these features enhance your ability to conduct research efficiently and quickly—however you choose to use them. We’re building even more tools to help you collate, analyze, and generate citations effortlessly—so stay tuned!
