corpora.ai: Greater control over your Research
At Corpora.ai we understand that no matter what you are researching it is paramount to be able to find previously seen information. This is why in our latest release we have introduced the ability to filter, group and sort your books and queries.
Grouping, Filtering and Sorting
Empowering your research retrieval
How does it work?
For the users that like the current pages, don't panic - the default views will remain the same. This update just provides greater flexibility on how your previous research can be viewed. My Books and My Queries both operate in the same manner with one key difference: you can group your books. All of the controls can be applied at once, allowing you the most control over how you view your previous research. In order to remove a control, the cross can be used on the label.

Group
As previously discussed, this control is only available on the My Books page. In order to keep the My Books page the same on initial view, the Category option is selected by default. This keeps the original view of your books grouped by Key Entities. For those moments that you do not wish to link those reports together, the grouping can now be removed to allow each book to be filtered and sorted individually.

Filter
Filtering reduces the number of results visible on both pages. Date is currently the only available field to filter by and has a few options to choose from. All of the available choices are a timeframe from the current date and allow you to focus on what has been important to you and your research recently. We are working on adding additional fields to filter by, so keep your eyes peeled in later releases!

Sort
Sort is the only control that must always have a value. If you want to see your data, you have to sort it somehow! The current choices are alphabetical and date, both ascending and descending. This allows you to find what you are looking for based on when you last interacted with the content or based on the title of your book and query.

Search
The search bar allows users to more granularly filter their results (for when date just isn't enough). On the My Books page, the search bar can return results from the title or the categories of the books, whereas for My Queries it will only show content matching the query you entered.

Conclusion
This is a feature that we are excited by and believe will make a big improvement in usability. We hope you feel the same and it helps you navigate your research more effectively. As always, we are appreciative of any feedback (positive or negative) and look forward to releasing more features soon!
